    Die Verantwortung für die Einhaltung der Menschenrechte liegt in erster Linie bei den Staaten. Allerdings hat das Bewusstsein von Unternehmen für die Auswirkungen ihres Handelns auf die Menschenrechte zugenommen. Gleichzeitig sind die Erwartungen von Politik und Gesellschaft an die Wirtschaft gestiegen.
